The two discuss the upcoming 87th Texas Legislative Session (convening next month), COVID-19’s impact on the lobby industry, and starting and building a lobby firm.

Lorena established her career around the Capitol in 2011 at the Texas Trial Lawyers Association
(TTLA), one of the most prominent political statewide trade associations in Texas. Between the years of 2014-2018 she decided to propel her career in the lobby and began to work at a well-established bipartisan Austin based firm, Texas Strategy Group.
Since leaving the firm in December 2018, Lorena brought her Government Affairs expertise, diverse and progressive lobbying and advocacy experience to her new established firm, Campos Consulting Group. She immediately began representing Oncor Electric, City of Dallas among others to begin the 86th Legislative Session and continues to do so.
